How analytics works

Our public holiday pages work whether you allow analytics or reject it. Analytics stays off until you choose to allow it. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep analytics off and do not ask you to override it.

What Google receives

When analytics is enabled and you allow it, Google Analytics receives public catalog page addresses, general page categories and countries, and limited arrival information. We remove query strings and fragments and send only known public referral origins. We do not send private countdowns, notes, email addresses, account identifiers, invitation codes, or keepsake payloads.

Google also receives browser and network information, including your IP address, as part of the connection. Analytics cookies distinguish visits in this browser. This is not anonymous measurement. Advertising features, Google Signals, user-provided data collection, and cross-domain linking are disabled.

Your choice and cookies

The Analytics choices control at the bottom of an eligible public page lets you allow, reject, or turn analytics off. We remember either choice in this browser for 180 days, without extending it on each visit. Analytics cookies also have a 180-day lifetime without renewal on visits. A changed notice or an expired choice leaves analytics off until you choose again.

Turning analytics off stops new collection and removes this marketing stream’s analytics cookies. Earlier analytics data is not deleted. When analytics is enabled, Google’s event and user data retention is set to two months without reset on activity; standard aggregated reports have different retention rules.

What the numbers mean

These reports cover eligible visits where analytics was allowed. Browser privacy preferences, blockers, missing referral information, and connection failures limit what we can measure. Cloudflare separately measures delivery requests, cache behavior, redirects, and errors. Those totals are not visitor page views.

This notice covers public marketing analytics. It does not replace the privacy information for an account or another feature. If Analytics choices is absent, analytics collection is not available on that page.
